There Was Once A Time

There was a time
when she would always be there
she'd be in Cyber Space on some poetry list
and she'd always be in my E Mailbox
there was a time
when she would always be there
driving or walking down my street
or sitting in a cafe gettin' something to eat
there was also a time
when she'd be in my arms
late at night or all day on the farm
where we would dump the loads of
the things we didn't need
but now she has changed it all
now she is only in my dreams
and all the things we used to do
we now do still, but only in my dreams
not too long ago
there was a time for us
but now that time is gone
