She Waits By The Shore For Him

She stands on the shore waiting for him
his time is running out
she wonders exactly where he went
and what all this is about
the hours go slowly by
yet by the shore is where she stays
she knows he will return to him
sooner or later one of these days

He lost and ever searching
at least to find himself
and maybe as he goes along
gather a little wealth
she wants him and he wants her
but fate got in the way
still you can see her waiting for him
by shore each and every day
