If You Want To Win
A Poem by Jim Nasium

Loose lips can sink ships
a stitch in time saves nine
the early bird gets the worm
seek and you shall find
ignorance is bliss they say
ever seen the tears of a clown
stuck between a rock and a hard place
in a corner slowly going down

It's always darkest before the dawn
take it one day at a time
each dark cloud has a silver lining
stay away from low life slime
do unto others as you'd have them do
unto you I've heard them say
try your best to learn something new
each and every day

Step on a crack break your mothers back
don't let a black cat cross your path
never walk under an open ladder
be prepared for the aftermath
denial is just not a river in Egypt
it's the sate of mind most live in
you got to keep on pushing
if you want to win...
