My Muse, My Computer, And I

I sit behind my desk at my computer
in my studio, upstairs, here at home
as long as my muse is with me
I am never really alone
it's late, dark and quiet
but I know that I'll be ok
if I just stay here, sit and create
untill the break of day

I sit behind my desk all night
creating with this machine
nothing matters any more
nothing is like it seems
a part of me leaves my body
it seems to have a life of it's own
but as long as my muse is with me
I am never really alone
