Cartagena... my Cartagena
how I long to return to you
I recall walking your walled city
sitting out on San Felipe too
Boca Chica and Boca Grande
and of course my favorite spot
the good old Hotel Bella Vista
could never, ever be forgot...

but Cartagena... my dear Cartagena
something tells me you're no longer the same
too many have come and gone after me
and each of them played the same game
every thing new is old and I've be told
Cartagena you're crowded now, and busy
I wonder some times Cartagena...
do you remember me?...
