The Gloaming
A Poem by Jim Nasium

The long shadows are forming
once again it's that time of day
as the sun slowly sets in the West
Crepuscule is on it's way

I sit looking at colors
that light up the evening sky
as I wonder where she is
I also wonder why

The long shadows are calling
once again it's that time of day
Crepuscule is fadeing fast
nights darkness is on it's way

I sit and make a wish
on the first star that I see
I wonder where she is
why she's not here with me...
