There ain't no use in sitting around wondering why babe
it was bound to happen any how
and there's no use in sitting there wondering why babe
my time has come and it's come now
one of these mornings when you wake I will be gone
you know I would have stayed but I'm not that strong
my time has come and it's dusk no longer dawn
don't think twice, it'll be alright
My last hour glass grains are all but gone babe
my time is coming and coming fast
you know I fought as long as I could babe
but my strength just wouldn't last
one of these day when you wake I'll be gone
there'll be no today in history no challenges or song
you won't know why but never the less I'll be gone
don't think twice, it'll be alright
There ain't no use in showing me your love now
you never showed it to me before
and there's no use in calling out my name girl
I just can't hear you any more
you knew my time was coming and pretty fast
I tried my best but I just can't last
never the less I had a great past
don't think twice it'll be alright
There ain't no use in telling me you love me
I've no time for love right now
there ain't no use in putting nothing above
I just can't beat this no how
one of these days when you call out my name
I'll be locked up in a clinic going slowly insane
you should have known I would have caused you some pain
but don't think twice, it'll be alright
Well there ain't no use in sitting there wondering why babe
you should know I'm ready to go
please don't cry and call out my name babe
don't put on that I'm sorry show
just let me go slipping quietly away
I don't know when but it'll be soon one day
we never did that much talking anyway
