A Gathering Of Friends

All the old friends were gathered in one place
the dinner party was going as planned
who was that man there taking pictures
that's one thing they didn't understand
The table setting was beautiful
everyone got dressed up to be there
it's been so long since they've done this
they all had so much to share
The meal was prepared perfectly
everything was traditional Jamaican food
they all tried to be on their best behavior
not one of them acted rude
They all wondered why it took so long
for the old friends to get together like this
who was that fellow watching them
what the hell did he think he'd miss...
