My Under The Bed Monster

From under my bed late at night
I can hear an awful sound
a groan like none you've ever heard
yet no one is around
if I lay still and pretend to sleep
a monster comes out from under my bed
no I wasn't have a dream
I didn't make any of this up in my head
I call it my under the bed monster
although it's more like a shadow
it never really speaks to me
what it wants I'll never know
it comes around every night
then hangs out on the wall
you might think I was seeing things
but I know what I saw....
