A Poem To A Lady
Take me to far away places
show me a world unseen
tell me exactly what I want to hear
I think you know what I mean
let me hang my work in your gallery
please help me to sell my art
tell me what's on your mind
let the future start
Tell me all about the theater
show me Paris at night
let me touch your beautiful body
so very wet and tight
I see your river flowing
I want to jump right in
but I know much better than that
with you I could never win
Fly to me in your private plane
when you land send your car around
lets get together some time real soon
lets have a night out on the town
we'll tell tales of things we've done
maybe spend a day or two
then when it's time for you to go
our time together will be through
At least we can say we were lovers
we shared our souls for awhile
the memory of our time together
will always make me smile
I'll never forget what we've done
never stop trying to do what I want to
just to sit in a quiet place some where
relax and talk away the hours with you
