One Sunset I'll Never Forget
We climbed to the top of the mountain
found a place to sit and rest
from up there we knew for a fact
watching a sunset would be best
The climb was not an easy one
but we knew it would be ok
once we got to the top'a the mountain
to watch the end of the day
Before we even knew it
the sky started to turn red
she handed me a doobie
said "here, feed you head"
I took a big hit from the joint
held the sweet smoke in
I found my standing up
just as the show begins
The colors I saw in the sky
covered the valley floor
the sun sunk slowly in the west
I was stoned that much was for sure
She stood there very close to me
put her arm around my waste
the event was so wonderful
we were happy to be in this place
The colors were amazing
they lit up the hole sky
different than any sunset before
that my friend ain't no lie
I have seen a lot of sun sets
but I've never seen anything like that yet
it was just one'a them sunsets
that I never will forget...
