So you want to talk about the blues
ya wanna cry that your girl went away
you can't pay your bills and you life has no thrills
well I only got one thing to say
every mans burden is the heaviest
and if you want to talk about the blues
please don't get me started
lord knows I've paid my dues
So you think you are the only one
that bad shit happens to
well sit back for a moment jack
I got some news for you
no one gets more shit dumped on them
then me and I swear it's true
please don't get me started
there's so much I could I tell you
So you want to talk about the blues
well my lady went away
she left the day she heard I got sick
and there's nothing I can do or say
to get her back in my life
it's way to late for that
please don't get me started
you don't wanna know where I'm at
So you think you got some problems
I've made no money in six months
I've dated some new women recently
but they all turned out to be cunts
I've got a freaking metal hip
and cancer in my bones
please don't get me started
you are not alone
So you think things are bad for you
well let me tell ya where I'm at
I've got tumors and cancer on my kidneys
what'a you think about that
I'm going back to the hospital
very soon be operated on again
please don't get me started
because it never ends
So you want to talk about problems
you think things are tuff for you
I can't walk right yet can't eat or sleep
there's not much at all I can do
I'm weak and loosing weight
see doctors almost every day
please don't get me started
that's all I got to say
So you thought that I was kidding
you thought your problems were bad
now maybe you can understand
why it is that I feel so sad
my life is caving in on me
it looks like I'm at the end
please don't get me started
I could go on and on my friend

things don't look real good for me
I'm getting worst every day
